Kadoorie Farm and Botanic Garden (KFBG) is a conservation and education center located in Tai Po, Hong Kong. Established in 1956, it originally aimed to provide agricultural aid to farmers in need, helping them achieve self-sufficiency. Over time, it evolved into a hub for ecological conservation, sustainability awareness, and environmental education.
Spanning 148 hectares on the northern slopes of Tai Mo Shan, Hong Kong’s highest mountain, KFBG features diverse landscapes, including forests, theme gardens, vegetable terraces, and conservation facilities. The farm is home to various wildlife species and plays a crucial role in species conservation and ecosystem restoration in Hong Kong and South China.
