preserves Hong Kong's cinematic heritage, showcasing classic films, exhibitions, and historic collections.

The Hong Kong Film Archive is a cultural hub dedicated to preserving and showcasing the rich history of Hong Kong cinema. Located in Sai Wan Ho, the four-story facility spans 7,200 square meters and features an exhibition hall, a resource center, a small cinema, and film restoration studios.

Housing over 5,600 film copies, including Hong Kong’s oldest known footage from 1898, the archive contains an extensive collection of movie posters, scripts, production stills, and awards. Visitors can explore special exhibitions or watch classic films, immersing themselves in the legacy of Hong Kong’s film industry—once known as the "Hollywood of the East."
